Solid sun protection -- especially for your face
The Ultra Adventure is my fifth Sunday Afternoons hat -- and my first in this style. The other four are the Sport model. I got my first one eight years ago for sun protection and haven’t been without one since. I burn easily, and after dealing with some retina issues from bright light, I’ve gotten very serious about protecting my eyes. I also walk a lot near lakes and other water, where the sunlight can be really intense. These hats do a great job covering my face and helping block glare. (I still wear sunglasses too for extra eye protection.) They fit true to size. My head is fairly small and I wear the Small/Medium. One small note -- the slider in the back tends to loosen easily, so I secure it with a quick stitch of thread and that takes care of it. They're super easy to clean. I just soak them in enzyme-based laundry detergent for a few hours or overnight, rinse well, and hang to dry. Even after all these years, my hats still look great. I keep buying them because I like the colors, and I’m trying this style for a little more coverage. Highly recommended for solid sun protection, especially for your face!

This is one great hat. I backpack, so I need a hat with neck coverage, and a broad brim in the front. This is the second time I’ve had this very same hat. The first one ripped after many years of use.

Great Hat. No regrets
Lightweight, great coverage, looks good as it fits actual head shape vs stiff shape. I was debating between s/m and l/xl as I'm in the middle. Went with s/m as it can stretch a bit. Could have gone either way.

This hat will protect your face and neck from sun
Hat is packable, lightweight, and had the best face and neck coverage of any I found. Also has a drawstring to keep it on. I haven’t used it yet but I know it will do what it’s designed to and protect you from the sun. This is going to be my go to hat for kayaking. I’ll probably look a bit silly but I don’t care because I want to protect my skin and that’s the main goal here with this hat.

Great for Pickleball
I love the protection of the ultra adventure hat. It is lightweight and great for pickleball! The hat absorbs sweat well. I wash it in cold water in a lingerie bag on gentle cycle. It dries quickly and looks like new.

Can’t live without it!
I cannot live without this hat! I’ve been wearing them daily for over 8 years. I have two. One is for dirty/rugged activities like backpacking, sailing and gardening. The other is for clean/cute activities like walking, sightseeing, or going to the farmer’s market. The foldability is great for traveling, honking, or even just to stick it in a pocket when you go inside, like at a restaurant. The chin strap is great, and the glasses holder works perfectly. Tip: switch your sunglasses and reading glasses from nose to brim when you’re outside and need to look at your phone or a map and compass..

My Go-to hat!
So light and comfortable, I forget I’m wearing a hat! Love it so much! Looks great on everyone. Friends see mine and order one often. Have bought extra for gifts. I can’t rave enough! Hope Sunday Afternoon never stops making this hat!
