Just What I Needed
I finally found a pair of hiking boots I really love, but when I tried to upgrade the factory footbed, my foot was too snug inside the boot, even with light cushion regular hiking socks. These socks were the perfect solution. They still give me the cushion I need in key spots, around the heel, toes and ball of my foot, but cut down on the overall volume enough to fit comfortably inside my boots with an upgraded aftermarket footbed. I did my first hike (8.7 miles) with them yesterday, and they felt great.

I would wear everyday
I enjoy wearing these socks. They fit great, I love the colors and they are comfortable and warm. They are a nice height on the leg to keep ankle warm as well.

fun sock but hard to recomend over classic hike
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great pair of socks. However, in my personal experience, I found them hard to recommend over regular hike socks. They perform as well as the hike socks, and I found it hard to tell them apart. the colours and fit are great, and they kept my feet comfy. If you like the design i recommend them, but I wouldn't treat them any differently from my regular hike socks. #smartwoolLove
