SH-MT34 Shoes

Flats have their place on DH trails and clipless pedals are great when you're all about the climbs, but what about when you're hammering up hills, ripping down, getting after rolling terrain, and hopping out of the saddle to negotiate some really rough stuff? That's when a do-it-all combo shoe like the Shimano SH-MT34 Men's Mountain Bike Shoe really cleans up. The mesh and synthetic leather upper and burly rubber tread make the MT34 look like a hiking shoe, but the recessed two-hole mountain bike cleat gives you some extra pedal power when the going gets tough.

The shoe is built on a fiberglass-reinforced rubber sole, which gives you powerful stiffness without making walking impossible, and includes an EVA midsole that serves up loads of support for all-day comfort. Shimano finished the MT34 off with lace keepers to make sure your strings stay out of the drivetrain, because a snagged lace will have you in a heap before you can say "I shoulda gone with hook-and-loop."
