    Buck nasty.

There are those who ski in straight, symmetrical curves down the entire mountain, and then there are those who will zig and zag from one cliff to the next pillow line in a chaotic, energetic fashion. Sego's Big Horn 106 Ski is certainly the option for the latter. This playful ski would get bored wiggling neat, orderly lines down big mountains; it thrives bouncing off trees, dropping cliffs, and making an absolute mess out of those orderly lines.

The Big Horn sports plenty of rocker in the tip and tail to work with the mid-sized 106mm waist for powdery play, and there's enough camber to help you edge through the firmness in search of softer snow. Sego built it out of a poppy poplar core with trixial fiberglass stiffening it up for faster speeds, and there's VDS rubber to dampen vibrations when you're really cruising the corduroy.

    5 days in Steamboat

I ordered the Big Horn 106s in 176 cm (6' 185lbs 50 yo male) on Tuesday. They arrived Thursday (love the 2-day shipping). I had them on 7.5" of fresh powder Saturday and an additional 5" on Sunday. They float beautifully, yet remain responsive enough to attack the trees and bumps with confidence. Over the next couple of days, the sun came out and the temps rose. The snow conditions varied from packed powder and push piles to hard pack. The Big Horn 106s never waivered; whether blasting through push piles or carving an edge on the hard pack. I am completely stoked on my choice. Grab a pair. I promise you won't be disappointed. #goatworthy

      One all do all

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Big Horn 106s have been my go to ski for the past season. It is a ski that can handle high speeds, big airs, and rip groomers. You will find yourself having a blast on this ski whether it be a day your local hill didn't receive any snow last night too oh my god its waist deep. The Big Horn does a surprisingly good job floating in the deep stuff and is playful all around the hill.
Please feel free to reach out to me direct if there are any detailed questions on any of the Sego line. I have had a helping hand in building and shaping a lot of these skis that are all handmade in Victor, ID.

Solid Choice for Knee Droppin' Volcanoes

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Check out this awesome video of Nick McEachern and Nick Rushford skiing Pico de Orizaba in Mexico. McEachem has a pair of early generation Big Horn 106's laid up with 22 Designs Axl Bindings. 100% Idaho made set-up! Very cool. This ski would be a great choice for anyone looking for a solid all-mountain tele set-up, it checks all the boxes for what I look for in a tele ski. Made in Victor, Idaho with the Tetons as a test ground, SEGO Skis will take your skiing to next level for winter 2017-18.
