- Q & A
5 days in Steamboat
I ordered the Big Horn 106s in 176 cm (6' 185lbs 50 yo male) on Tuesday. They arrived Thursday (love the 2-day shipping). I had them on 7.5" of fresh powder Saturday and an additional 5" on Sunday. They float beautifully, yet remain responsive enough to attack the trees and bumps with confidence. Over the next couple of days, the sun came out and the temps rose. The snow conditions varied from packed powder and push piles to hard pack. The Big Horn 106s never waivered; whether blasting through push piles or carving an edge on the hard pack. I am completely stoked on my choice. Grab a pair. I promise you won't be disappointed. #goatworthy
One all do all
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The Big Horn 106s have been my go to ski for the past season. It is a ski that can handle high speeds, big airs, and rip groomers. You will find yourself having a blast on this ski whether it be a day your local hill didn't receive any snow last night too oh my god its waist deep. The Big Horn does a surprisingly good job floating in the deep stuff and is playful all around the hill.
Please feel free to reach out to me direct if there are any detailed questions on any of the Sego line. I have had a helping hand in building and shaping a lot of these skis that are all handmade in Victor, ID.

Solid Choice for Knee Droppin' Volcanoes

Check out this awesome video of Nick McEachern and Nick Rushford skiing Pico de Orizaba in Mexico. McEachem has a pair of early generation Big Horn 106's laid up with 22 Designs Axl Bindings. 100% Idaho made set-up! Very cool. This ski would be a great choice for anyone looking for a solid all-mountain tele set-up, it checks all the boxes for what I look for in a tele ski. Made in Victor, Idaho with the Tetons as a test ground, SEGO Skis will take your skiing to next level for winter 2017-18.
