JUNK beyond any comprehension
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 42
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 170
I got them 6 months ago directly from SCARPA and the soles are already worn through. Yes, holes in both soles. SCARPA's response: "The photos of the soles that you have provided are consistent with moderately used, six-month old shoes, and there is nothing irregular about the wear pattern, lugs, or attachment of the outsole to the shoe. One final note – the outsoles on the Spin Ultra are made using a rubber called Vibram Megagrip, which is a compound that excels in friction on both dry and wet surfaces but as a trade off is generally less durable." Meaning they are designed NOT to last. VIBRAM is junk these days and SCARPA is no longer the brand it used to be. FYI I weight less than 170lbs and I don't do any running, jogging or even hiking these days. You have been warned.
