Thoughtfully outfitted with PrimaLoft synthetic insulation and decked out with fully taped seams and a completely waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane, the Whitemount's a serious pant for serious skiers in, well, serious conditions. In addition to its insulated and waterproof design, Salomon cut the Whitemount using its MotionFit concept, which provides extra fabric in key zones so you can move comfortably whether you're skiing powder, ripping moguls, or bootpacking up a ridge to access your favorite stash. Thigh vents keep you cool on the way up, and the adjustable waist and suspenders keep your pants from ending up around your ankles like some little jibber's—seriously, it's easier to ski if you can move your legs independently. Salomon finished the Whitemount off with hem guards to prevent your pants from getting slashed by your edges and threw in some water-resistant hand pockets to keep your snacks and lip stuff close at hand.
