Sizing is off
I wear a standard size 5 sometimes 5.5 in everything. I found these to be two sizes to big and unfortunately had to return. Otherwise they seem like they were constructed well.

Plenty of room for my toes
Many shoe brands (Nike, new balance....) make my toes go numb because the toebox is too narrow - and specific wide width shoes are too wide for me. The Vayas are one of the most comfortable activewear shoes I've ever worn, and have good grip for day-hiking in the mountains. I just bought my second pair and I'm sad they seem to be going away.

Waterproof, comfy, and cute!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
These are the best shoes!! Comfy right out of the box - on pavement or the trail. *make sure you check Solomon size guide* I am a 9.5 - 10 (10 in most boots) and the 9.5 fits perfectly with enough room for my hiking socks. Great traction, lightweight, breathable, and absolutely waterproof while standing in a stream. And not only do these perform great, they look great too! I’m a sneaker head, and find most hiking shoes to be pretty ugly, but not these!! We can’t all leave our vanity at home while exploring outside, so it’s nice to be able to have a cute adventure sneaker!

Not waterproof
Third time of wearing, walking through short wet grass feet were wet within 5 minutes. I do not expect to pay this kind of money for non waterproof shoes. I am a returning customer having bought similar shoes in the past which were excellent. Also decent laces replaced with thin nylon strings.

Comfortable and durable
Bought these shoes to wear for teaching physical education when my classes were moved outdoors full-time - Fantastic shoes, comfortable from the first wear, waterproof, light, supportive for easy terrain

Gore-tex kicks
I got these from @Salomon a few months ago and they're GREAT! Essential footwear on a hike is essential and these shoes sum up a good hike experience. I didn't need to break into the shoes as they already felt very comfortable the very first time I wore them. The shoes have a lot of cushioning around the foot and generally feel like you're walking on clouds. The material is waterproof which is a plus for early morning hikes with dew along the trails. I also get a lot of compliments along the trails which is a plus. :)

Potential but too much side room
This is perhaps 2 of 15 that might've actually fit... most of Salomon's shoes are inconsistent. As a women's US 7.5, I am trying 6.5 and they are often too big, at least a half size, and then to go down more, it would be too narrow. The Vaya had too much room on the side, so it bent into the toes, noticiably... and this seems trending in the new line, that the shoe bend has all this extra room, which is great if you have bunions, perhaps, but not good, since there is just open space. I'm shocked that I can't find a consistent pair of shoes...

Perfect shoe for everything
I bought these shoes about a year ago and since then I wear them almost everyday. It is perfect for everything, starting with quick walk with your dog, to all day hike in the mountains. We even wear them in the winter! With proper socks and gaiters (shoe covers) you can walk in 40cm of snow and your feet remain warm and dry. Shoe is wider which is something I prefer but it might be too wide for someone so I recommend trying in store. Worth every penny!

Lightweight and flexible.
I bought these for urban hiking, but now prefer them for hard-core hiking as well. I like the fact that they feel so light on my feet. I had to buy the Salomon gaiters so rocks and mud wouldn't get into them. I tend to get them very muddy, but they wash fairly easily.

Very Comfortable
I bought my first pair of Solomon shoes a few months ago and loved them so much that I bought these ones and love them also.
