Excellent Stability
Coming from Ultra Glide 2 in which I loved, this shoe is much more stable and much better descending and fits a bit wider in toe box.

BUY THIS SHOE
I gave 4 stars because I feel a little hot spot issue on my left arch nothing a little KT tape couldnt fix. What is weird is that my Thundercross does the same thing but the Sense Ride doesn't. I am 5'11" 175ish been running and wearing running shoe for awhile now. I have been enjoying the traction, fit, and security the shoe provides on the technical mountain trails of Utah. It has been a dry winter so I cannot give feedback on wet terrain. Out of the box I was initially scared because of the fit, the fear past away after a few runs. It has been four to six weeks now and the shoe is dialed in to my foot. Take your time and be patient with this shoe. It will reward you with smiles and happy miles.

Started off good
The grip and fit are good but after 40 miles the midsole feels dead. I have around 60 miles in the shoe and some of the overlays are peeling and the midsole feels gone. This is my first year running in a higher stack height shoes kind of disappointing. Hopefully the s lab version last longer.

Quick break-in to 50km
Needed new shoes for a 50km trail run in MOAB. Bought another brand about 2 months prior and they didn't fit my feet well. Bought the Salomon Genesis and had just about a month to break them in. Finished my 50km in them without issue. No major blisters, comfortable, and plenty of traction. The lugs felt more suited to dirt/sand than rocky terrain common in MOAB, but they were relatively balanced. The quick laces took some getting used to, but once I figured out how to get the correct tightness they have been fine.

Prefect Traction
I really like that outsole. Combined with the support features it makes for the perfect amount of grip on the trail.

Awesome shoes
I've been buying Solomon shoes for many years and used to favor the XA Pro 3D's but they changed something so that they were no longer comfortable for me and so I tried these. I have to say that these are the best shoes I have ever owned. I wear a narrow size 14 and they fit my feet like a glove. They have just the right amount of cushion, stability, grip, durability and comfort that you could ever ask in a trail running shoe. Well I don't run. I do a lot of hiking and backpacking and have used these shoes in all conditions to my complete satisfaction. And while my feet tend to get very sore after a long hike I don't have nearly the problem with that with these shoes is I have had with others.

Sharp-looking
These shoes are sharp-looking. I got the Black / White / Lemon and wow the colors are great i might change the yellow laces for black ones but overall, I like the color scheme. As for comfort, they are true to size and quite comfortable but the heel seems tight which isn't what I would have expected I also imagine the heel area will break in. I will wear these as everyday shoes and not just for trail running.
