    Keep your canine copilot happy.

When the call of the open road beckons, the Ruffwear Kibble Kaddie ensures your canine copilot stays well feed throughout your journey. This chow carrier has a grease-resistant lining to protect Fido's food from external moisture, not mention saving the bag from grub grease. Pour the food in the top (up to 42 cups) and keep it fresh with the roll-down top. Open the side chute and pour dining heaven into your pooch's collapsible food bowl. When your dog is done eating, squish his bowl flat and store it in the front mesh pocket until you're ready to feed him again—if he had his way, it would always be time to eat again.

    Car camping doggie kitchen

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Anytime I'm out car camping with my pup this thing comes with. Love the roll top. Love the food chute. Cuts down on plastic bags. This thing is great for all your doggie car camping adventures. Throw your collapsible bowls in the side mesh pocket. All your dogs kitchen needs in one handy spot.

    Save the Zip-Locks

This thing goes on all of our adventures! It has space for the collapsible Ruffwear bowl we've got, and can hold more than enough food for longer trips. My only gripe is the magnetic door, which I could personally go without. I measure out each of my dog's meals which is way easier from the top, and the door also makes it way easier for my dog to break it open and eat her heart out, but we've easily avoided that for the most part. No more zip-locks for us, this is the solution!

      Killer!

This bag is a great piece for our camping gear. The roll top allows you to store multiple days worth of food and the mesh pocket on the side allows for carrying of small items (poop bags, bowls etc.) The food chute could be an issue of you were throwing this thing around, as it might come open. For us at the campsite, it wasn't a concern.

        Worth It

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We've had one of these for about a year now and it goes every where with us. We do a bit of travelling and out pup goes with us every where so we pack a bag of her toys, leashes, poo bags and other goodies for her and then her kibble kaddie (she travels pretty light!).

        Roll Top:
This is one thing that we really love. Super easy access to get to the food and then the closer forms a nice handle. We never have any food leakage issues from the top. Plus the big opening makes filling it pretty easy.

        Food Chute:
This is a nice feature but we don't really use it. I think maybe 2 or 3 times in the time we've had it. It's come open once on me but that was because i dropped the bag from about 3 feet high and that was enough for to have the magnets disconnect from each other. Cool feature but for me, I'd want to see it revised a bit before we'd use it. Plus our dog only eats maybe 2 cups of food a day max so we wouldn't need to pour a ton of food out.

        Mesh Pocket:
This is nice. We store poo bags here or other random items. Nice little feature for extras.

        Grease Resistant Lining:
It is resistant but not proof. The oils from the food have made it through the lining...but it's not really that big of a deal. It's still clean and totally fine.

        Great travel piece

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a huge upgrade from the plastic bags we have always used. Perfect for travel, camping, or overnights. It actually holds a lot of food & the side pocket is great for treats.

        RAD!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We use this every time we travel. Its real easy to pack and holds over a weeks worth of food for our monsters. The flap on the side is also a great way to measure out servings if you forget the measuring cup. I would recommend this to anyone who loves traveling with their dogs.

        Best product ever

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this kaddie! It is the perfect road trip dog food carrier out there. It is not overly large, it isn't a boxy plastic container, it has an awesome roll top to seal the dog food in there, and the spout to pour out the dog food is the best feature of the whole thing I think! It is connected by a magnet so it is easy to open and close.
I love the side pocket as well to stash a collapsible bowl or two while traveling, they thought of everything with this kaddie!

        It's just perfect

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This kaddie is amazing. It's so great for camping, roadtrips, sleepovers, etc. It's convenient, easy to use and travels well. Holds a ton of food, opens and closes with ease plus there's a handle. I haven't used the food chute yet since we still measure food since our dog is still a puppy but this is SO much better than a ziploc bag! This is a MUST if you travel a lot with your pup.

        The Go to Bag

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We love this thing!! This bag is perfect for road-trips, camping or sending the Pups to Grandmas for the weekend! It's been through a lot and continues hold strong. Like the other review, the only negative I've found has been the staining of the fabric from the food.

        Bigger than it looks

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Dont be alarmed, when i first got this bag i was positive it wouldn't hold 42 cups of dry kibble as well. (taste of the wild is what i use). I put it to the test immediately, low and behold it does actually fit 42 cups of food. i was shocked. Great bag, awesome purchase.

        Ruffwear wins again...

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've tried tons of bags to carry food in but it's clear from the moment you first look at this bag (especially in person) that it's well designed and that they've thought of nearly everything.

Yes, it costs a lot, but I hope that it'll more than make up for that in the number of times I've had to replace similar, lesser, bags.

I was initially worried about the chute but haven't had problems with food leaking out.

The bag is huge and fits way more food than similar ones I've had - which is great for traveling for a while, and great for leaving food in the car if you're on the run a lot.

The handle helps with pouring and with toting it around, and the mesh pocket means your bowl or measuring cup or other food related items are all kept in one place.

So far no issues with the bag getting greasy - I would gather that this new version (as compared to the older) might be better in this regard?

Definitely a luxury item but worth it!!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We've used, re-used and re-used again many zip-loc bags for our dogs kibble on -the-go. This system worked just fine but I secretly wanted one of these Ruff Wear Kibble Kaddie's for some time. Finally I sprung for the purchase and while it still seems a little extravagant for our girl, I love it! Packing for a trip with her (and we take many) is much easier now and it can carry a substantial amount of kibble! I'm impressed and it's definitely worth every penny.

We don't really use the side chute though...it's just easier to open up the top and use a scoop for measuring out food. I also haven't washed it yet but it seems sturdy enough to withstand quite a bit.

Great for an easy pack up and go.

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I know this 'kaddie' might seem unnecessary, but I use mine all the time and it makes travel with my pup super easy. I just hook his travel bowls to it and trow it in the back of my car. I even use the mesh pocket for a collapsible measuring cup to get precise amounts out of the little chute.

It holds just under a 15lb bag of food and is definitely water proof. The only thing to note that is weird is that although the bag is not greasy on the outside, the grease from the food has sort of leached out and stained the bag, making it darker. Not a big deal because it is not greasy, but just thought it should be known.

Great for an easy pack up and go.
