Saffron 7 Ski - Women's

The Saffron 7 Women's Ski is smack-dab in the middle of Rossignol's famed and acclaimed 7 Series, big enough to rally through the powder with ease but slim enough to handle the groomers without batting an eyelash. It's built with Rossignol's do-it-all Powder Turn Rocker, which has low camber underfoot to hold a bomber edge on hardpack and rocker in the tip and tail to float through the fluff and rally over rough-and-tumble snow. It also features the now-famous honeycomb Air Tip, which reduces swing weight, increases nimbleness and maneuverability, and eliminates the dreaded tip chatter that can plague rockered skis at speed.

In addition to being quicker than lightning, the Saffron is nice and light, courtesy of its poplar wood core that offers loads of quickness to help you make moves in tight spots and not overwhelm lighter, smaller riders. The Mini-cap construction employs sidewalls underfoot for edge grip and power, but uses a cap over the rest of the ski to keep weight down and fun up. The centered sidecut also offers plenty of progressive edge contact, so you can pivot like a champ at slow speeds and have loads of edge grip when you lay the ski over and open up the throttle.
