Do more with less.
If you're into endurance cycling over long distances, you need to get the most out of your apparel. There's no need to burden yourself with carrying extra gear that's heavy and takes up valuable space. Instead, seek out intelligent clothing choices like the Brevet Long-Sleeve Windblock Jersey from Rapha. It blends wind protection and a high level of breathability so it'll have you covered on the longest rides over variable conditions. Rapha Brevet's credo is "pack light, travel far" and that's exactly what this jersey allows you to do.
The jersey design brings the performance of the quick-drying, lightweight merino wool and adds the wind-protection of a gilet. A panel of windproof fabric, the same as what's used in the Rapha Brevet Gilet is stitched onto the front and over the shoulders to keep your core toasty on chilly descents but not too overwhelming over the course of your ride. It's similar to the short-sleeve version, except it contains a higher wool content that's ideal for cooler temperatures. The reflective and hi-vis Brevet stripes on the front and back as well as the reflective logo help keep you visible long before sunrise and after the sun has set. It has a total of five pockets for toting plenty of food and flat fixing material on all-day epics and the silicone gripper at the waist's hem keeps the jersey in place over rougher roads and multiple out of the saddle efforts.

I've got a couple of these jerseys and have to say that they are the most versatile piece of kit that I own; I wear them on road rides, gravel rides and (GASP!) mountain rides. The wool is very light weight, and the windproof liner does a great job. Couple these with a variety of base layers and you are covered for temperature ranges as low as 35F and up to the low 70s. LOVE this jersey!
