Why We Like The Xenair Vest
For added warmth as we hit high elevation, we insulate with the Xenair Vest. Because of Pertex Quantum Air's windproof yet air-permeable design, this midlayer is great for activities where we'll be stopping plenty on our way to the top. Dual-density Primaloft insulation is body-mapped and engineered to keep our core warm while we're belaying, resting, or enjoying a trailside snack, and it's lightweight and breathable enough for the more active legs of our excursion.

Warm, light, very nicely styled,
Warm, light, very nicely styled, lovely soft fabric and lovely colours. Great size and positioning of the front chest pocket. Perfectly functional zips. A great wrap around to keep the core warm and can be used under any other layer if needed. Love it.

One of my favourites
This is probably the most versatile item of kit I own. It is incredibly warm without adding bulk, very lightweight for the hills and packs down well in my rucksack when not being worn. Always goes in my swim bag for helping maintain my core temperature after an open water swim, it's the best thing I've found for this. Really happy with it and wouldn't be without it on the hills now.

Versatile layering must have.
So versatile all year round, a must have for any layering system. Excellent for a light windproof on chillier hill tops in the summer or as an extra layer of warmth in the winter.

Should be great but sadly doesn't fit right
The Xenair Vest bust fit is too snug. It should be perfect, and fits a gap in the market - light, warm, packable. I'm a 14/16 and not 'big busted'. I have both a 16 RAB Microlight Jacket and a 14 RAB Gilet. The Xenair size14 fits is uncomfortably snug across the bust. The size 16 Xenair is a good bust fit, but shapeless and baggy everywhere else. Fix the fit and I'll buy it!

Light, packable vest that keeps
Light, packable vest that keeps you warm. Easy to wear as a midlayer and allows the flexibility to wear a jacket over the top without being bulky. Isn't as fitted as a microlight vest which does add extra comfort around the hip area for myself.
