First off, I’m 6’2” and about 175 pounds. The medium fit perfectly. Supportive but not too snug and the chamois stays put. Very breathable. Functional pockets for snacks, keys, phone, etc. can’t carry a full size bottle but maybe a smaller one or a collapsible bottle would fit in the back pocket. The padding in the chamois is nice and thick, and my sit bones weren’t sore after 3+ hrs of technical single track. I think the gel really helped. The silicone on the leg opening was comfortable and held well. They ended up about mid thigh, leaving about an inch gap between the hem of the shorts and my knee pads. Very possibly my new favorites. Oh, and the belly was stretchy enough to easily use the restroom while wearing them... very important!
