Point Dirt Jump Bike

We're piloting the Pivot Point Dirt Jump Bike downhill and sending it into another dimension of endless steeze and effortless style. It's easy to cruise on down to the local dirt jump parks on our Point before effortlessly sending transfers and big gaps in the dirt. When we’re not seinding it at the local park this stiff bike hooks up on the slopestyle course. With its featured longer front-center length the bike stays composed through high G-force situations. This modern dirt jumper is made from 100% chromoly steel, giving it a responsive and stiff ride feel.

Riding the point feels completely natural coming from our longer BMX freestyle bikes. Marzzochi tames down those big hits upfront with 100mm of tunable suspension. The added bit of suspension keeps us riding longer while our wrists reap the rewards from not being smashed into the pavement hit after hit. The SRAM level brake keeps control of the rear, and an externally routed cable means it’s easier to run excess cable for sick bar spins.

The single-speed specific design keeps chatter down in the rear and is set up for long-lasting use and extreme durability season after season. A KMC single-speed specific Z1 chain is beefed up for consistent use and hard accelerations. The two-piece steel crank is ultra-stiff and doesn’t flex when we’re landing a huge transfer. Paired up the crank is 28x16t gearing so we’re quickly getting back up to speed. Legendary Maxxs Holy Rollers take-up rubber to dirt duties. These tires quickly became a favorite of dirt jump riders everywhere with their outstanding grip and low rolling resistance.

Geometry on the Pivot Point is dialed in and progressively modern for the dirt jump scene. A categorically accurate 68.5° head-tube angle is paired with a nice slacked-out 72° seat-angle. The longer 60.5mm top tube length and high 32.5mm bottom bracket keeps the bike stable at high speeds but poppy and playful on the jumps. Standard dirt jump 135mm rear axle width means after we’re done busting one wheelset we can throw on our old ones. Finished off with quality Spank components, we’re running this bike lap after lap at the local park and impressing our homies with grace and high speed steeze.
