    Classic Sandlot

    • Fit: True to size

Love my new PF Flyers. Fit should be pretty true to size for normal US Sizing. I ordered 1/2 size down because I have narrow feet and they work fine but probably still should have gone with my normal sizing. These shoes are legitimately comfortable out of the box. And I can wear them all day comfortably unlike Chuck Taylor's I've had in the past that left my arch sore at the end of the day.
Everyone should have a pair of these.

You cannot go wrong with the Sandlots. "Guaranteed to make a kid run faster and jump higher" - they arent lying when they say that. I had this new kid move into my neighborhood when i was in my 3rd year of 8th grade, never played baseball in his life.. kid even showed up with a plastic glove? Anyways, since we were down a player, i put him in the outfield. I ended up cranking the snot out of the only baseball we had, and we couldnt play anymore. So instead of going home for the day, this new kid says he has an extra ball at the house and says he will snag it. Sick, no big deal right?.. WRONG. The kid doesnt just show up with a ball, he shows up with a BABE RUTH SIGNED BALL and decides not to mention it to anyone. Honestly, i do slightly hold his step dad accountable since he decided not to put it in a case, or maybe a safe?? Good going Denis Leary, you moronic smuck. Fast forward to me letting this kid get up to bat, because hey, its his ball.. Ends up smoking probably the ONLY home run of his life into the ONLY backyard in are neighbor hood controlled by a half dog half dinosaur. We were actually pretty pumped for the kid at first, then it looked like his soul got sucked out of his body, so we asked what was up. After discovering it was in fact a Babe Ruth signed ball, we tried EVERYTHING to get this ball back, but continued to fail. In the end, obviously out of ideas/ my mind, I decided to order up a pair of PF Flyers because a pickle against this prehistoric beast of a dog was the only option. They fit great out of the box! I have a naturally wide /arched foot and didn't notice any pressure points. Im usually a size 11 in most shoes, so i went with that option. Because i had to out run a demon dog, they broke in relatively fast for me. I was JETTTING around my town, probably ran 3-4 miles from that dog and didn't notice any discomfort. Long story long, i ended up getting the ball back, the dog was super nice after i saved its life, I'm best friends with the kid, and i made it into the MLB. After playing pro for a while, i decided to retire here at Backcountry and continue to let my story live on through PF Flyer Reviews. Hit me up if you got any questions.
