Comfortable, blocks sun, good surf hat

I’ve used this hat for about a month in the small South Carolina surf. This past week we actually had 3-4 foot storm surf. The hat stays on when duck diving and during wipeouts. The only time it comes off is when a wave hits you from behind but it floats so no big deal. I bought it to keep the early morning sun out of my eyes. The brim is just the right size to keep the sun out of my eyes and water spray when paddling into wind chop.

Great water hat

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great water hat. I use it to surf in when the waves are small and the sun is strong. I like that the cord over the brim can also be used as a chin strap to keep the hat on when duck diving. I’ve recommended this hat to friends
