Great lightweight shorts that don't ride up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these shorts looking for a good length that were short, but not too short that I would end up chaffing while running. These shorts do the job at providing a layer between the thighs while I run and also do a fair job at not riding up too much that you feel like you're constantly pulling them back down. Overall a great short!

Good shorts, liner rubs on long runs
I like these shorts a lot: they look good and they are well made and super light and breathable. The pocket and zipper are great. My only issue with the shorts is some irritation from the liner seam and drawcord wanting to roll around, especially on longer runs. I now use these shorts for shorter workouts and on hot days and they work great! I'd love to use them on long trail runs too but they end up chafing a lot.

Excellent for high output
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts have been great for high output backpacking trips. Light, quick drying and don't get in the way of a hip belt on a heavy pack. Great fit and function.

Light, light and light
Very lightweight and excellent fitting. I'm 5'09" and 160 and the large are just right with a big of room. Mediums were too small. The waist band is perforated, allowing it to breath instead of collecting sweat. The rear pocket is nice to have but since I also wear a couple different running belts, I don't use it. The waist the itself is a nice, thicker, elastic sort of shoelace, that cinches up nicely. One complaint though is that it tends to roll inside the waist band. So far,it hasn't effected the fit of support, but it's worth noting. I'd also like to see a small amount of reflective trim added. I will definitely buy these again in addition to the two pair I have now.

Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super lightweight, good fit. The back pocket also feels well constructed. Not sure how durable they are yet--I've been using them for 3 weeks and they haven't shown any noticeable damage.

Not durable and liner uncomfortable. Would NOT recommend
Within one day of wearing these I already tore a hole in them. Sure it was technically my fault... I worked out with a weighted pull up belt to do some weighted pull ups and the carabiner pierced through the material.... But I have never had to worry about that with any of my other work out shorts. I get they were going for lightweight, but I feel like they couldn't used a thicker material and only added maybe half an ounce or so. Or maybe went with a design that didn't have a liner. Additionally, I wore these last weekend for a 12 hour trail race. By mile 20 I had to switch to another pair of shorts because the liner was really rubbing me raw. I have a 29" waist and got a small so sizing shouldn't have been the problem. Overall I'd say pass. There are better workout shorts to spend your money on.

Super light and comfortable! Found my new favorite short.
I was skeptical when I ordered these due to a single review being left on these shorts but I could not be happier with my purchase. Super light, super breathable, and the fabric feels durable. I have put these shorts through several running and functional fitness workouts and they are holding up beautifully as I would expect from OR products. For sizing purposes, I am 6', 218 lbs, and the Large fits great. Thanks, OR, you have knocked it out of the park with these shorts.

Incredibly light and airy running shorts
As a regular runner and OR employee, I've typically run in all OR apparel - except for my shorts. Now I finally have a pair of OR shorts that is not only well fitting and comfortable to run in, but among the best I've used from any brand. The liner is comfortable and breathable. The rear zip pocket fits a credit card and ID perfectly. And the length and waistband are just right.
