The Oboz Sypes hiking boots are exactly what I need. They are comfortable and firm for stability. The traction is so much better than I have had with past hiking boots. I needlessly worried about the boots being too warm in the summer. I like the fact that they are waterproof. My skinny ankles feel better protected. I bought the slate color which had the lowest price of the color options. I am very satisfied.

I bought these boots (after trying a few different brands) and they are AMAZING ! No break in period required - SO comfortable and I hiked part of the Alps in Switzerland shortly after buying them. Great traction and fit. I've gotten compliments from other hikers about how cool they are. I quickly ordered another pair since my history has been that when I go to replace a product I LOVE, it's no longer available to purchase. Now I'm set !

Perfect fit

I have a narrow foot and have a hard time finding shoes that fit good and are comfortable and supportive too. This is my second pair of Oboz and they both fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable, even the first time I wore them on a walk.

I bought these for camping in Iceland West Fjords. Did not have a chance to break them in and was worried. But hiked 8hrs/day for 3 days over mountains, through streams, seaweed, mud and 2+ ft snow and they stayed dry and perfectly comfortable!! Sized up based on reviews.

Second pair of Oboz, best fit I’ve found in years of hiking. Everyone’s foot is different, but I hit the trails and never worry about blisters, rubbing or sore bruised feet from rocks. Hiking hundreds of miles and switch out boots, socks depending on weather and terrain, always pleased with Oboz.

So happy with this shoe. It's so supportive and so comfortable. It's an all year hiking shoe for me. Does great in wet and dry climates. I purchased the thyme and love that color!!!
