Power Stretch Stimulus Glove

The Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Stimulus Glove might just end up as your "never leave home without it" essential in the winter. This versatile lightweight glove can be used as a standalone glove for everyday pursuits and cold-weather runs, and can also be used as a liner under a heavier glove when you're out for a cold day on the ski hill. The Polartec Power Stretch fabric wicks moisture and stretches comfortably with your hand, giving you added coverage and warmth that won't ever cause discomfort. The fabric also breathes well, so whether you're layering with it or working up a sweat during your workout you'll stay comfortable. Plus, it also features a touchscreen-compatible thumb and index finger to ensure that all that added coverage won't come at the cost of missing out on a beautiful picture of whichever winter wonderland you're exploring.

Cold and wear out fast

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These gloves are cold for their thickness. Have other cheap polypro gloves of similar thickness which are warmer than these. The finger tips wear out fast and don't work well. I wouldn't recommend these gloves to anyone.

Excellent for their purpose

Had to wait to review these and y'know what. they're pretty good. I'd used them in "warmer" conditions and whatever, not challenging for a review. But I gave them a shot tonight in -18C (0F) weather. They're entirely not suitable for that weather, but you'd have to be a fool to think they would be. They did ok. They kept the wind out, but they aren't nearly thick enough for that kind of cold. They aren't designed to be. But they were good enough for a ten minute walk and that's damned impressive all things considered. The fit is really nice (XL on big hands), they're pretty windproof but they carry no warmth, which shouldn't be expected. I'm quite comfortable if you use them for what they are designed for and that isn't 0F.

Really nice gloves!

I really like these gloves; they're well made and fit my hands perfectly. I've been using them on winter bike rides, sometimes putting mitten shells over them for more wind protection. And, of course, they're also great for walks and driving my car.

Great light glove or liner!!!

Nice light glove I have two pairs now I like them so much after I lost the right glove one night found it later. For me they are good down to about 25 degrees for a mile walk with light wind anything below that will use them as a liner under heavy glove. The touch screen finger tip will no longer work after a wash in the machine.

The perfect lightweight glove

Really like them for driving, and also keeping my hands warm on a run. Easy to use with my phone.

Perfect for base level gloves.

Gloves fit well, good stretch, very breathable. Wind will cut right through but they aren’t really meant to be stand alone gloves.
