Very warm and comfy but sizing is huge
I was looking for something I could use as a third layer but also layer below another jacked when it gets colder. The jacket itself is surprisingly warm and the grid fleece is really comfortable. My complaint is the sizing, it is way off; I am size small and this thing fits like a medium. Arms are about 1.5 to 2 inches too long and shoulders are quite wide. The DWR isn't very effective either, I took it out in a like drizzle for a few mins and the fabric just absorbed the moisture. I am still holding onto it but more as a backup or car camping beater than a performance hoody for backpacking. For reference, I am 5'7" and other clothing like the MH Polartec Power Grid half zip fit me perfectly.

Comfy but runs big.
Good quality and warm but even buying a size small, it fits quite loose and the sleeves are pretty long. I wish the sleeves had some sort of elastic cuff to them that would still allow them to work on me without me having to fold them a little.

5'11 200 LBS Size Large Versatile is the key word here. Great lightweight softshell. Its has been used under both a motorcycle and ski jacket for additonal warmth. Ive also used it out hiking on a mild winter day and it breathed well. I love the look, design, and feel of it and that it packs fairly light. its comfortable and casual, just what i was looking for.

Decent mid layer
Overall sizing felt off. Tight in the chest when zipped but loose near the waist - looked bell shaped (not flattering). For reference, I'm 5'10, 155. It's a light hoody but feels well insulated. Going to return it and keep on the search. Love MHW, but this one wasn't for me!

Get this for your African safari
This hoody was an excellent addition to my wardrobe for my recent trip to Tanzania. It didnt take up a lot of room in my luggage, but more importantly it provided just the right amount of warmth for the early morning excursions into Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The hood provided excellent wind protection while riding in the safari vehicles. The color was appropriate as well. I can highly recommend this product!

Great layering piece
Bought this for a recent Rainier climb. Excellent layering piece to pair with my Ghost Whisperer. Good wind protection bit still breathes well during high exertion. I am 6' tall and 195 lbs. The Large fits perfectly. Would definitely buy again.

Nice mid layer
I originally purchased a size medium, which is what I have in all of MW clothing. Bit was long in both torso and sleeves and wide as well. Super baggy. Re-ordered a small and it’s a perfect fit. This jacket breathes pretty well while keeping you warm - especially if you have a lightweight long sleev underneath in cooler temperatures.

Hefty and Warm
I work as a climbing guide in Colorado, so my work takes me to a variety of locations and climates. My initial guess as to what the Keele would be like was similar to other grid fleeces: lightweight and flexible. The latter is more true than the former. This layer was surprisingly heavy - and I think that's fantastic. It presents a different layering option than other mid-layers that tend to strive to be light. The inner fabric is extremely soft, so it feels great next to skin. I was caught in a mild drizzle and the outer fabric did a great job beading water and not letting me get soaked. I'm 5'10" 165 and it felt just a hair big on me. If it was colder (ice climbing or mountaineering) I would appreciate the room to layer. As the only mid-layer I was wearing it was just a slight bit big, but I didn't find that problematic at all.

Awesome! Light weight, yet warm when you need it!
I'm a climbing coach and instructor in the new England area around Connecticut and that means I got to try it out in all different types of weather. And for those breezy days that wouldn't warrant a windbreaker or a soft shell this thing is fantastic for keeping your body temp at whatever sweetspot that you like it to be. I'm about 5'9" and a large in jackets and shirts and through Mountain Hardware's recommendation I got a large and it fits perfectly for me! One of the great features that it has is that it is lightweight and the DWR fabric is great for those misty hiking days keeping me nice and dry and also warm! Ontop of that the 3 piece hood makes it easy to wear a climbing helmet comfortably and safely while projecting routes outside. If your looking to crush it in the fall outdoor season of climbing this is the hoodie for you!
