Almost a great jacket!

Almost a great jacket, but... Pros: - Warm, puffy, synthetic. Warmer and puffier than most competitors in this class (100g insultation vs usually 60g) - Slim but roomy fit. I'm 5'6" and barrel chested with broad shoulders. Skinny people might find it a bit baggy maybe? - High quality Cons: - Crinkly noisy liner fabric. Ugh. Annoying. Kills the vibe. I'm trying really hard to ignore it. I really don't like this fabric trend these days. Designers? You don't care? - Super puff hood. It's too puffy and big, and sticks up around the back of your head when not in use. Annoying. Looks ridiculous too. Also, once you pull the adjustment cord, good luck getting it to go back in without taking the jacket off - or choose to have a long hanging loop at your back... Regret? Well, it does the job it's intended to very well, and I have not found another jacket this puffy and still this light and technical. BUT, it's annoying to wear. Hmmm... Aw, well at least I don't seem to notice when I'm skiing in cold pow.

Great value and performance

Hard to believe that a jacket this light can be as warm as the compressor. Have work this in the low 30s with just a t shirt underneath and was very comfortable.

Very warm for its weight

My initial impression of this jacket is that it is really impressive. In low 30 degree temperatures, it was very warm and offered great wind protection. So far, seems like a great insulated jacket.

Great fit, warm, but smells TERRIBLE

I am 5’10” 235 lbs. longer arms and torso than avg. this XL fits well. Maybe slightly snug. But xxl would be huge. The reason for 3/5 stars is the jacket smells like petroleum. Terrible. I washed it, still smells a bit. Will try washing again and airing it out.Gave me a headache. Have never had this with any MH product before.

Arcteryx Atom LT is still a KING

I have several different colors of Arcteryx Atom LT hoody which fits me perfectly. The compressor hoody is a bit short( I normally wear S size), the material is just OK(Atom Lt is better), the size of the chest pocket is smaller than Atom LT. The weight is heavier than Atom LT. It does feel thicker than Atom LT. Overall it's OK jacket, but Atom Lt is still a winner.

Warm and Cozy

I have to give MH some love. I sent in a shell that was delaminating, and they stood behind it, so I got this. It came in a day before we got hit with snow and colder than normal (for PNW) weather. I was moving into my new tiny home/studio, but I didn’t have the electricity hooked up yet. I figured it would be like a camping trip. It was cold and frozen inside. But I was warm in this jacket. I lived in it with a hoodie underneath. It’s warmer than anything else I have, and comfortable. My friends were worried that I was freezing, but I was luxuriating in my newly found warmth, thanks to MH!

Dank Jacket.

I love this jacket. Very warm. Not as noisy as other reviewer mentioned. Get you one if it meets your needs.

Fits great, very comfortable and warm. Fantastic quality.

The jacket fits perfectly (size M) and is very warm down to about 30 degrees. Plenty warm at lower temperatures that with an additional light layer under the jacket. The hood fits well and does not cover my eyes like some other jackets. Excellent quality and very well assembled. I recommend it for a very light yet warm jacket.

Favorite jacket!

Super comfortable and warm. I read others complain about the noise. Doesn’t bother me. I’m not trying to sneak up on anyone. Just want to be warm.
