Great functionality and super warm!
I used the Absolute Zero down suit on my summit day on Mount Everest and it kept me very warm, while also comfortable and easy to climb in. The pockets were very useful for keeping important items accessible. Overall, the construction is the best available that I found while searching for the best options available. I look forward to wearing this piece on my next 8000m summit day!

Very warm
This suit is quality made and very warm. Although, if you are around 5'7" then it may be a bit long for you. I am 5'7" and got the medium regular size and the legs are a bit long for me but not a deal breaker. With boots on, this hopefully shouldn't be an issue. I haven't actually used it on an expedition yet so I can't really give a review on it's performance.

Delivers on promises
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero Suit is a beautifully built piece. It's extremely warm as one would expect, but the details really set this suit apart from the others. I'm around 6'1" and have a broad build. The XL fits really well in overall length and the excellent internal suspenders need very little adjustment. I've been pleased with the zippers throughout. They are high quality coil type and never get caught due to how smoothly they function. The outer shell has less sewn seams than most down products because of the welded outer construction. This modern construction technique is great at keeping the wind and moisture out. Despite being a full suit with a high among of fill, it compacts to a remarkably small size. Overall the absolute zero suit is just about perfect and the build quality is up there with the best. You can't go wrong with this field proven unit. It was definitely well with the investment for me.

Superb Fit & Function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using this as a winter landscape photographer - its compact size and relative light weight allows it to be carried in a backpack to location and then put on over existing clothing to stay warm in frigid temperatures while enjoying and photographing the surrounding beauty. it's superb!

Great Suit, Quality is "ok", sizing runs large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ...it's just really "Dumpy" in comparison to others on the market. I'm 6'3" 202lbs and actually use this for what its intended for... I wish it was a bit trimmer in the mid-rif though, as it can make for some fumbling with the harness. Just curious... anyone have suggestions on how to properly mount sponsorship patches to this thing? Iron on? Glue on? Sew on?

Doesn't accommodate evacuation
Alpine pocket issues? Please. Sub zero evacuation is an issue. Just saying...

Wore to the summit of K2
After owning another down suit for 10 years, when it came time to replace it, I looked at all the major brands and choose the MH Absolute Down Suit for the waterproof down and overall design. I summited K2 in this suit on July 27, 2014 and was never cold. I liked the pocket placements, internal pockets and the hood design is excellent.

A great down suit for the extreme cold
Just received this a short while ago along with the Ghost Long sleeping bag. This one-piece down suit is extremely warm. After just putting it on I was very very warm. Hot. Fit: I'm 5'11" and weigh probably back into the mid-to upper 190's. I've got the Size Large on in the photo. Fits nicely with room for appropriate layers underneath. Arms and leg inseam length are perfect. The inseam of the leg ends just atop of my Salomon beats. Quality manufacturing all around. Don't plan on doing any high mountain climbing or alpinism but will be doing mountain hut-to-hut hiking and East Coast winter camping. Won't be taking this to Europe for the hiking though. I will take along my Absolute Zero parka for that if the weather requires it, otherwise it'll be my Nilas jacket. Would be nice if there were handwarmer pockets outside of the alpine pockets. Even better yet, bringing back the Absolute Zero pants, but my guess is that for climbing mountains like Everest the the one piece outfit is superior to the parka and salopettes option. Overall a great item and can't wait to put it to use on a winter camping trip.
