The tights are made of Mavic's three-layer Warm Shell Wind fabric comprising the front panels. WSW provides superb wind protection while still being light and breathable. The bib's interior is a soft brushed-fleece lining that's especially warm, and the tights are treated with Mavic's Super Roubaix Teflon for extra durability and elasticity while boosting the fabric's insulating ability. The Ergo Pro 3D chamois that the tights sport is fine-tuned to distribute weight onto the sit bones (or ischial tuberosity) and off of soft tissue, while at the same time rapidly evaporating moisture to keep you more comfortable and reduce the chance of blisters forming. Finally, stirrup loops around the foot keep the leg lowers in place and prevent heat loss down in and around your shoes — a critical detail that can make or break a super cold ride.
