Easy to pack and fits perfectly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket as I needed a simple rain jacket that could be easily packed and layered over casual collared shirts. This jacket holds up very well during travel, fits perfectly (not too bulky or long) on a slimmer body, and pairs well with nearly all of my shirts. It also does a great job of keeping me dry!

Very warm yet thin. Does not breathe.
Big pit zippers help release heat retention but I was always overheated in the rain. The hood is large - must be for helmets because I fit a wide-brimmed hat under it and the hood held it. Love the colors. Pockets fit a point and shoot camera but be careful - things fall out easily. Used it for 2 weeks in very rainy / windy Iceland and I was always overheated. Opened the pit zips and was still overheated.

Always dry!!!
Dry as could be. I wore the EvoDry in the middle of a rain and hail storm while river guiding. Then on multiple other occasions of rain storms this summer on the river. Never have I been more happy knowing my rain coat is actually going to work. I love this coat.

Great Hardshell
Great 3 layer jacket. Might be a little thick for warmer weather but for spring skiing it is perfect. Inside pocket is perfect for a phone.

Great Jacket
Excellent rain protection Fits well plenty of room for warm base layer. Seems a bit heavy and warm for southern summers

Great jacket, perfect fit (I ordered a large, I am 6’ 1”, 205 lbs), pockets are in the right place. Waterproof, breathable, comfortable, great for biking. Highly recommend.

solid jacket
thicker than I thought. the material is very clothlike as opposed to more typical raincoat material. Very different than the material used for the Precip rain jackets. I like the fit (5'9" 165lbs purchased the medium). Big enough to have a layer underneath for winter use but not swimming in it if I only use the jacket. I have yet to test it in the rain so I will have to write another review once I do.

Tropical storm tested!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not just for snowy 'base camps' or ski resorts--this jacket worked amazingly in the hot tropical environment of deep southern Florida. Besides fitting perfectly and looking sharp--this jacket never failed me during a three week visit to the sunshine state. This includes rain storm gusts of 50-mph on the Atlantic, hiking through the Everglades, kayaking channels and mangrove chunnels in the keys and warmer breezy sunsets on the Gulf. The features of the jacket were put to the test. The drawstring hood allowed me to adjust the tightness around my head on during the storms (important note, because the Marmot descriptions always talk about being 'helmet size' I don't wear a helmet). The velcro on the sleeves allowed me to tighten--and loosen as needed. The EVODry fabric kept the hard rain out COMPLETELY on this trip. Pit zips came in handy during the humid Everglade treks. The two way zipper is a must, for comfort and functionality. Pockets could have been bigger to carry 'stuff.' But, besides being weather-tested, the jacket looks absolutely amazing and comment-worthy while just out and about.
