Utilizing Mammut's proprietary MTI Pro synthetic insulation, the Kompakt is highly compressible, offers an excellent weight to insulation ratio, and maintains the major benefit of a synthetic fill bag which is the ability to retain insulating properties when wet. This makes the Kompakt an excellent choice when you plan on backpacking in cold and wet conditions you might find along the Pacific Crest Trail, The North Cascades, or during the rainy season in your home range. The bag itself is fitted with a 3/4-length left side zipper, an adjustable foot area, and an ergonomically shaped footbox to give your feet some wiggle room while you sleep.
