Crag Workhorse Dry Rope
Among Mammut's arsenal of climbing ropes, the Crag Workhorse Dry Rope stands out as one of the more robust options. Best used for sport and trad applications, it's the skinniest Workhorse rope from Mammut, even though 9.9mm is considered fairly beefy in the entirety of climbing ropes. Mammut's Dry treatment excels UIAA's standards for abrasion-resistance as well as water-resistance, so this rope thrives in both desert and alpine environments. Mammut added a center mark to quicken rappel rigs.

Will purchase again
We have been using this rope for over 2 years now, mostly on the east coast of Canada and US, in about every possible conditions except for snow. The dry treatment has been very effective in keeping the rope clean and avoiding to pick up too much debris. It feel great to handle and could be used by anyone. I would recommend to rope for its durability mostly, but on the other hand, it means it is on the heavy side, which makes it a little less pleasant to carry around.

Beautiful rope
As always, Mammuts rope are excellent. The rope feels nice and the catch is soft. It is a 9.9 rope so it is heavy but that is to be expected. Would recommend!

First few uses this stuck in the grigri and was hard to feed while lead belaying. I believe this was due to the dry treatment. (For context I lead belay with the grigri the same as I would an ATC. I do not touch the device unless necessary and had to in order to feed any rope.) This has improved over time. I've probably used it on 10 routes in 3 months and think it will continue to improve with use. So far it has been a great first rope with not a lot of stretch. I might consider a dry core or a skinnier rope for my next one.

Mammut ropes are the best
All Mammut Crag Workhorse and/or Dry ropes are super durable, supple, and do not kink.

Best Rope around
I have absolutely abused this rope over the past 6 months. All over Vermont, the Adirondacks New York, Red River Gorge Kentucky, American Fork/big cottonwood/ little cottonwood/Zion/Unitas all in Utah. This rope has seen it all and held up like no other. Barely any damage to it and even the spots that have slid over quarts chips while repelling or dragged across sharp corners have never gotten through the sheath. When this one is finally at the end of its life I will be immediately purchasing another. The only negative is the center mark has faded faster than I expected. If you are looking for a rope, Mammut is the only brand I will buy. No reason to look elsewhere they are the pinnacle.

I've been top-roping and lead climbing outdoors with this rope for a few months now and it doesn't show any signs of wear. It's durable and feeds well. The 60m rope is long enough for every location i've visited. MAMMUT did not disappoint!

Excellent rope!
Handles well and feeds nicely through my grigri, very solid rope. Will definitely buy another when this one needs to be retired.

Very durable rope!
Just got back from a week long climbing trip in the desert. I used the 9.9 Crag Workhorse every day and it still looks brand new! Would absolutely get another one in the future.

Highly recommend the 9.9 workhorse. The 70m makes it versatile, definitely my go to for sport climb burns.
