Finally got the chance to use this rope today in Shelf Road CO and I have to say as long as they keep making this rope I'm gonna keep buying it. I would use this rope for the rest of my life is possible. Quite possible the best rope I've ever used. This is coming from someone who has used dozens of ropes from dozens of companies. Look no further this is the rope you want.

Solid Rope

I've been using the Crag Classic rope, and it performs exactly as expected. The build quality is excellent, and it handles well during climbs. I’ve encountered no issues with durability or performance, and it inspires confidence every time. It’s a solid, reliable rope for any climber, whether beginner or expert.

Excellent bi-pattern rope

Soft and supple out of the box, smooth sheath and great stretch. This is the best 9.5 mm rope I've used to date. Great reviews and great value when you don't absolutely need a dry rope (in most cases you don't).

This was my first rope I bought it’s a great affordable rope. I definitely used this rope very hard and even now it still looks brand new! I have always felt super secure on this rope and highly recommend.

My favorite rope for feel

I really love the hand on this rope, it just feels great to handle. It also behaves well in terms of coiling, flaking and taking falls. Would definitely buy another when this one wears out.

The go to rope

This rope does exactly what I want it to. The 9.5 thickness is not too fat for my grigri but not sketchy skinny either. The sheath holds together great and the dual pattern is way rad. I really have no complaints about this rope.

I bought a Mammut rope years ago, and it was garbage, so I was hesitant to buy another. However, I read a review from Outdoor Gear Lab suggesting it, and I’m glad I gave Mammut another try. This rope handles nice, is super supple, doesn’t twist and generally handles and climbs quite nicely. I can’t speak to the durability yet, but it’s been really nice for the 30-40 pitches I’ve done with it this far. If you’ve been unhappy with Mammut ropes in the past, it may be time to give them another try, especially if you find this rope on sale.
