Here's a question: How do you make ski as bomber as a skateboard? You build it like a skateboard. That's Line's theory, and it's why they built the Afterbang Ski with a horizontally laminated six-ply maple core to stand up to all sorts of pipe, park, and urban abuse. Don't let the skateboard-style construction confuse you, though—the Afterbang's a tailor-made freestyle machine, with carbon OllieBand stringers for tons of pop and thin ButterZones in the tip and tail for smooth, controllable butters with minimal effort. It also rocks a twin-tip profile, fully symmetrical shape, and a symmetrical flex to make switch riding a piece of cake, and a 5-Cut sidecut that makes turning, both forwards and switch, the simplest thing you'll do all day. The Fatty base and edges are also super durable, so you won't have a blowout if you hook up an edge on rail or accidentally land a bomb drop right onto a rock. We'd still recommend scoping your landings, though.
