The Trigger S system allows you to attach and release your straps faster and more comfortably than ever before. No longer do you need to fiddle with your pole straps on the hill. Just click it and rip it. The grip is super comfortable and the adjust ability allows to tackle any terrain thrown at you.

The most thought-out pole I've seen

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These things are great. I've done 3 or 4 tours in them and put in another 5 days at the resort. These poles are as close to a "best of both worlds" pole I've seen. Lightweight, low profile, and race-style hand straps you unhook at the touch of a button for the lifts.

I haven't had a crash in them, but they are supposed to break free if you hit something really gnarly.

    Some caveats though:
    - If you are ski touring TAKE THE STRAPS OFF. It is very easy to press the strap release by accident when hiking and if they are not around your wrists you will lose them. Thankfully my buddy saw them fall off when I didn't notice.

    - You need to cinch the mid clamp REALLY tightly (they are adjustable on the fly via a dial). Like, almost so tight they barely snap closed. Otherwise the pole will slip anytime you need to put a fair amount of weight on it.

If your a fan of the LEKI wristwraps...

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If your a fan of the LEKI wristwraps and spend time earning your turns... these are for you! Solid 2 section, light weight and have climbing grips for the uphill battle. I have come to love the LEKI speed lock system. Great combo and will do anything.
