Storm Chaser Snowboard

Blending both snowboard and surfboard tech, the Jones Storm Chaser Snowboard is the powder-hungry offspring of a collaboration between Jones and world-renowned surfboard shaper, Chris Christenson. Using contours from their favorite snow and surf designs, Chris and Jeremy sketched the shape and rocker profile of this snow surfer by hand, resulting in an explosively fast powder rocket that packs insane float into a nimble short board.

Shaped with a Surf Rocker Profile, this board's nose rockers starts just inside of the front inserts and the tail rocker starts just at the back inserts, ramping the nose out of the snow when you weight the tail for insane float on some of the deepest days. The nose pops even further out of the snow when you rock into a bottom turn or backside slash, keeping you bouncing along with minimal effort. The blunt nose gives you added floatation benefits without extra swing weight and the "snow plow" effect, while the Mellow Magne-Traction improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points for locked in turns and stability over bulletproof coniditions.

Under the hood of this snow surfer, the poplar and paulownia wood Storm Core maximizes pop, float, and flex, to keep you boosting back threes off of natural features with just the right amount of power and control. The dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate provides a fun, forgiving, and snappy ride, while the UHMW-PE and carbon Sintered 9900 base keeps you cooking at lightning-fast speeds and is super easy to repair when you catch a couple dings.
