Just because you're riding chairlifts doesn't mean you can leave your avalanche gear at home. The Jones Deeper Backpack is the perfect pack to wear when you're exploring through the gates at the resort. It has a compact size that won't feel bulky or throw you off balance, yet it still has plenty of space to hold your avy tools plus a few extras, such as a spare baselayer and snacks.

New for 2017, Jones decided to give the sternum strap a wider adjustability range to give female riders a better fit. Vertical snowboard carry straps hold your deck when you need to bootpack to a hidden pow stash, and ski carry straps hold your splitboard when it's in ski mode. A foam back panel allows for comfortable carrying throughout the day, and avy tool slots keep your rescue gear organized. An insulated hydration sleeve keeps your water from freezing, and a fleece-lined goggle pocket prevents your lenses from getting scratched.
