I was concerned that the sleeves/hood would not be windproof and after trying this jacket out on a windy 26 degree bike ride in Minnesota today I wore the Verglas without a shell and the entire jacket was highly wind resistant which is what I was hoping for. It was quite warm where I needed it to be, and moved well/stretched with my body+activity. I really like this jacket as it gives the insulation where I need it in the chest and upper back and has little insulation in the arms/sleeves which is what I was looking for, as when I do a high-intensity workout my arms get very sweaty. I primarily bought this to be a mid-layer under a shell for when I go skiing, which also works quite well. Overall very pleased with this jacket as an outer layer or mid layer. Fits well and as expected. I got the large and I am 6'2" and 200#
