Why We Like The Helly Hansen Verglas Hooded Down Insulator Jacket
Step up our layering game in the Helly Hansen Verglas Hooded Down Insulator Jacket. Whether we're at the resort or on the trail, the plush down insulation offers dependable warmth by locking in our body heat, while the durable fabric repels wind and water, creating a barrier between us and the elements. Low-profile cuffs make it easy to slip this jacket on under a shell and also work to keep the chill out when we're wearing it as a stand-alone piece.

Weird sizing
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Strange sizing on this one. I’m usually a Medium, but had to return both L and M due to being tight in the hips but bulky on the top.

Good for peace of mind
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 30-50L
I used a 35L mountain hardware scrambler pack while hiking in Greenland. This rain cover was good peace of mind to toss into my pack, just in case the weather turned or the boats we were on got a bit splashy. It was a bit bigger than I had wanted, but not so big that it took up significant room in my pack.
