Venture 130 Touring Boot - Men's

With the flex of a burly charger and the hiking capabilities of a dedicated touring boot, the Head Venture 130 is capable of satisfying ex-racers and crusty old earn-your-turners alike. Constructed with a 2-part shell, the Venture 130 has a ski/hike switch that frees the upper cuff to move when disengaged, making steep booters and long approaches easier than a Sunday morning. Like all pure touring boots, the Venture has a Vibram sole, which works with an underfoot wedge to cushion shocks and hard landings and allows you to cruise over rocks and rough terrain without worrying about slipping and going for a ride.

To help you dial in the perfect fit, Head hooked the Venture up with a fully-moldable Perfect Fit HP Pro FR liner, which is capable of being heated and re-formed repeatedly, so there's no need to stress if you're not totally stoked on the fit after your first fitting session. It's easy to get a super-precise shell fit, too, with Spineflex micro-adjustable buckles that wrap the shell precisely around the foot and a top buckle supermacro ratchet that squeezes the shell around the lower leg, reducing shin bang and sloppy fore-and-aft balance issues. The HP Frame footbed keeps your dogs from barking during a long day on the skin track, and a progressively-sized last that widens proportionally as the shell size increases ensures a proper balance between boot width and length, lowering the probability that you'll need to pay for expensive and time-consuming grinds and punches.
