Lava 70L Duffel

The Haglofs Lava 70L Duffel is begging to come on your next trip with you, and it doesn't care if you're going by train, plane, or car. Regardless of the method of transportation, the Lava is built with nylon and Tarpoulin so it can stand up to everything from being crammed in a trunk to the abuse of baggage handlers. It has a DWR treatment to shed moisture, so as it sits waiting to be loaded you won't have to worry about all of your gear getting soaked. As your bag rolls around the luggage carousel, you won't have to worry about flipping it over because the Lava features carry handles at both ends for convenient snagging. All in all, this duffel is more than a bag—it's packaged peace of mind that makes your trip less stressful.

Be Original

I've put it through the wringer

This Duffel can carry anything I need, and does it comfortably. It really has every feature any other duffel will have, it looks really nice, is durable, and better yet you will be able to find your bag at baggage claim because not everyone will have a Haglofs duffel. Be the trend setter and get this duffel.

Gets The Job Done

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I picked up this duffel a few weeks back so only have initial impressions. I've used it as a gear bag for an overnight camp out - super spacious, seriously this thing can hold more than you'd think it would - If you are traveling and only plan on checking one bag, this thing would be great for a European backpacking adventure. Great that it has an organizer pocket for easy access to things like passports, or if you're using it as a camp out bag you can keep daily necessities there. Definitely durable, and I believe its water resistant with the DWR treatment on it. If you're in need of a solid travel duffel or a gear bag to get your stuff up to a ski resort or climbing gym, this bag will definitely be able to tackle those tasks. Just for comparison, the Patagonia Black Hole 60L Duffel weighs in at - 2lb 7oz, whereas the Haglofs Lava 70L weighs 2lb 11.38oz - so you get an extra 10L and its basically only 4oz heavier.

Solid Duffel

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Big duffel that gets the job done. Super durable and weather resistant. Plenty of space to pack all the gear. There's an internal organizer pocket that's nice for separating dirty clothes and a zippered pocket under the lid for easy access to your accessories. For as big as it is, I wish there were some internal straps to secure your gear and keep it from shifting inside the bag. There's so much space that this could be an issue unless you have the bag filled to capacity. But if you just need a big bag to carry everything and don't require much organization this is a great option.

The Stoke is Real

I've used it several times

I mean the brand name practically says it all, but they went the extra step to make sure their name sticks. Their duffel is one of them, still amazed by this bag. It's made well with how you are able to organize your gear you stuff into it. I flipped out with I got this duffel and the pocket it was stuffed into also is used as a organizer if you need something separated in your bag. It really comes in handy with dirty clothes! As handy as that is, there are so many handles on the bag too. It's so easy to handle this with all sorts of straps especially if you'll be moving around a lot with it. There is no stow-away compartment for the loose straps if you're not using these though. But you can take this literally anywhere and the bag will take care of itself with how durable it is. Went through the rain with some camera gear in there and wasn't even worried - though be careful as it's not waterproof just extremely water resistant. All together having a clean look, this is a solid duffel!
