Poor design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a strip of material/stitching on the heel of the shoe that just tears up the skin on the back of your heel in short order. Don't wear barefoot, wear socks.

Grunden sailing shoes.
Great looking. Super comfortable. Great traction on deck. Only negative is they will run the skin raw at the Achilles. Have to wear socks.

LIFE GOT BETTER
I have size 13EE feet, and finding a decent boat shoe is harder than it might seem. I have worn some version of traditional leather or leather-and-mesh products all my life, and bought a pair of these shoes when they came on sale, just to see. I'll never go back. These shoes fit very well - close like a good pair of gloves, yet flexible and unrestrictive. They are well-made, lightweight, breathable, easy to clean up, and they provide excellent traction on deck. While I am a VERY traditional guy where style is concerned, I bought the orange shoes with the dark sole, and I love them. Now, MY ONLY WISH IS THAT THE ORANGE SHOES WITH THE DARK SOLE COULD BE RE-INTRODUCED; I'd buy a couple more pair straightaway if I could find 'em!

Lightweight and comfortable
Feels great and very lightweight. Little irritation on the back of my upper heal when wearing a low sock so I recommend wearing a sock high enough to cover your ankle area above the shoe. After wearing a higher sock I could not ask for a more comfortable shoe.

Great shoe
Wore this shoe for 3 straight days Tarpon fishing out of Key West. I’m are on the water for over 8 hours with my guide. These shoes have great padding for standing all day during some choppy water due to the wind. We had some rain on two of my days and they had great grip. By far the best boat shoe I’ve ever owned. I’ve tried several name brands, and at the end of along day of fishing you can’t wait to just get off your feet. Not the case with these shoes. Great job!!!

Super Comfortable and Versitile
I have had these several months now and love them, not just for fishing but casual wear too! I wish they would put these SUPER COMFORTABLE SOLES on short boots too!!!!

A go-to shoe for everything
I have several of these in different colors and wear them on the boat, in the garden, at the beach, in the office, around the house, international travel, and on casual night out. Socks or no socks, they break in fast and I've never had blisters. Most comfortable ever. After a day of work in the dirt or fish blood, a shot with a garden hose cleans them back looking brand new.
