An Arctic Hat for Snowy Activities
Best Arctic Hat for outdoor activities, kept my ears warm and the peak provides just enough shelter for your face in -30 temperatures whilst skiing. Brilliant hat. Would be great if the hat could be made in a lighter colour too.

Fine hat but not as warm as I hoped.
I bought this last week. The construction and materials all seem first rate. I bought the hat hoping for one that would work better with my headlamp given that both my morning and evening dog walks are in full darkness right now. Given the brim and the folded down ear flaps, my headlamp stays on very well and the brim blocks any glare from the headlamp on my glasses. All good there. The first night of dog walking with the hat, the temp was around 18F. For my head, the hat was not warm enough. On a subsequent night, at 25F, still a bit cool. Granted, these were not "sunny, cold" days but I didn't consider those nights all that cold. Yesterday, I did use the hat for some very active skate skiing in the sun with the temps in the upper 20s. For that use, the hat was fine. In fact, at the end of the eight mile ski, my head was quite warm. I definitely liked the brim keeping sun off my face. In summary, if you are like me, this hat will be a good pick for active use in the 20s. For low-effort activities like walking the dog, where I do not work up any sweat, this won't be enough in the low to mid 20s or colder. I plan to keep the hat for skiing but will use a different hat for cold, low-effort activities.

Really well done!
This is a great cold weather cap. Fabulous against wind. Really like being able to cover the ears but when you warm up, uncover the ears. Bill is just enough to block out sun, but not get in the way. Easy to stuff in a pocket. Design and workmanship are top notch.

Great Weatherproof Hat
I have been wearing one of these hats for the last 3 years to commute by bicycle. I wear it for at least 2 hours a day for 8 months per year. I wear it under my helmet and it keeps me warm and dry. I have not even treated it with Greenland Wax yet.Excellent product like everything from Fjallraven. Well worth the money.
