They are all defective - crease line
Almost great. One problem made me return it. All the jackets made recently seem to have a defect where a seemingly permanent crease is present along the fold line used for shipping. I tried a bunch of things and gave it time, the crease never came out. At this price the cut and fit better be perfect, and it missed the mark. 3 stars if the crease bothers you, 5 stars if not.

Good coat, but cuffs need tweaking
Great technical coat, which i use for ski instructing, walking and general wet weather - nipping to the pub. My only quibble would be there isn't a big enough velcro piece on the cuff to allow you to sufficiently tighten it. Minor detail, but irritating. Other than that - excellent coat!

Fitting
Just received it today. Didn’t have the chance to go out yet. I’m 6’ for 180 lbs and medium is perfect for pants (33-34) as well as the jacket. The cut is simply perfect

Comfort and Performance
This wonderful Jacket (Shell) sells out -- at least for me in a Men's Large. Finally after two refunds I got a Shell that fits perfectly in X-Large. It look very pro in coffee houses and performs at the highest levels on the trails and at the summit. It keeps wind chill out and rain without making me perspire. The full size hood lays compactly on my back yet had plenty of space for wear a helmet without restricted motion or vision. Buy it now before it sells out again

great style, good warmth
I have several sweaters. I worn this one as a third layer beneath a Bergtagen Eco Shell in 8 degrees and I was comfortable and had hardly any restriction of movement It is a great deal and well made

A stylish jacket that performs in the elements...what more could you ask for. At 5'8" and 170lbs the medium jacket is one of the best fitting jackets I've ever owned, even with a baselayer and insulated jacket underneath. The cut/fit, look, feel, and performance of this jacket make it hands down one of my favorite jackets I've ever owned. I went with the monochromatic look, pairing the orange Bergtagen Eco-Shell Jacket with the Bergtagen Eco-Shell pants. While I did not have many days in blizzard-esque conditions, days spent touring in falling snow were had and I remained warm, dry, and comfortable. Minimalistic, there are underarm vents and two chest pockets, large enough to fit skins or simply hold your phone. While dirt tends to cling and show more than other jackets I've owned, I can quickly move past that, as everything else about the Bergtagen Eco-Shell kit exceeds expectations. This kit will remain in my rotation until the day it completely falls apart. Fj°llr°ven crushed it with the Bergtagen Eco-Shell Jacket. This was my go-to ski touring kit for 2020 and will remain as such for 2021.
