All these are good for is pajamas
My most uncomfortable, expensive, pajamas. I say pajamas because that is about all they are good for. The pocket seems are coming undone, my items and hands slip through. I can see through the butt area just after a few months of wearing them. The fly zipper is already shot. The seams are coming undone in the crotch area as well. All these are good for is pajamas. Regret buying 2 pairs. I’ll stick to the Kebs from now on if I need to rely on a solid pair of pants in the field.

Great pants with some flaws
I bought this pants to be an all around pants that I can wear to hikes and outdoor activities, around town when I need pockets to carry things for my two toddlers, and for traveling due to comfort and the pockets. I can understand meeting all these criteria can seem impossible, but this pants comes very close! I am 6' 1" slender built (skinny legs and glutes), 160 lbs and strangely had to size up then take the already expensive pants to a tailor to have the waste taken in. As an avid hiker, I need some room in the legs otherwise the chafing would make these unusable. In terms of comfort, these are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn period! When it comes to looks, it has a distinct outdoorsy cargo pants look which would have been fine, but I do wish the stretch panels were not a different color... that's just not my style and I find it stands out in ways I wish they didn't (eg hard to walk in the neighborhood or on the beach without someone commenting on these pants... I prefer my pants not to be a topic of conversation). In terms of functionality, this pants hits the sweet spot: enough pockets to carry what I need but not too many like some other Fjallraven pants. The boot hook works great: I know this is meant to be for warm weathers, but I wear long johns under these and use the boot hooks to keep snow out of my boots and it works great for that purpose. I have not used the boot hooks in the summer. I tried to cinch the ankles with the straps, but like other reviews have stated the mechanism is finicky and can come undone by accident so I took them out. A size down (my usual size pants) would have made these leg openings too small to wrap around my boots... again I find the sizing on these pants strange. In addition to the contrasting colors, there are a couple things I don't like about these pants and frankly a bit surprised given the premium price: first, the zippers on the thigh pockets rub against my hands when I stride... wish they closed with the zippers towards the inner thigh. This is annoying and unnecessarily noisy on long hikes. Second, I wish the ventilation zippers opened from bottom up. The way they are now, I cannot use them without my boxers/boxer briefs showing which, let's face it, nobody wants to see haha. Finally, I know this is meant to be worn over boots which is why the leg opening is a wide boot cut, but I would be fine if it had a narrower opening which I think would have worked just fine.

Some of my favorite Fjallraven.
I buy all my Fjallraven trousers in 48/long but these seemed to run a bit large in the waist. I sized down to 46/long and they fit more closely to the rest of my collection. I've seen other reviews that say they run slim through the thighs and calfs - this is true. I'm skinny so the slim legs don't bother me.

Comfortable Pants
Lightweight and comfortable with some stretch in the legs. Would be perfect with two back pockets.

Bad Cuff System
Hi, per usual great product, great material. However the cuff has a band made of webbing that doesn't work properly. The webbing is too long, first, so when you draw it all the way tight it drags on the ground. Related to this problem is the fact that the webbing does not insert back into the slot in the cuff. Again it's too long. Secondly, the cinch pinches the cuff itself, so you have an awkwardly folded cuff that does not look or feel clean. If the cuff were fixed, I'd endorse. As of now, I asked for a return.

Great Summer Hiking Pant
This pant is awesome for hikes in the summer. Nice and lightweight, great stretch in fabric allowing for ease of mobility and movement. Convenient zippered pockets for easy access, even has an inner hidden phone to secure phone (no phone bouncing around). My favourite go-to summer hiking pant that I'll always have!
