Just Beautiful

My "daily carry" net for trout here along the smaller streams and waters in Utah. Super strong and light with a beautiful pattern and gorgeous grippy texture to the handle.

Great catch and release net
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought this to use when fishing with a friend who is a fly-fisherman. We used it for trout while hiking on the river banks. The hooks never get caught in the netting and we could safely release the fish back into the wild.

My favorite net!
I love this net for when I'm wading on the streams & rivers. Lightweight, durable, floats & has a nice rubbery finish with a cool trout pattern. I've had some of the cheaper rubber nets and this is much better. The cheaper ones use a stiff rubber that wears out quickly. This basket has been through 2 hard seasons so far and is still going strong, I especially like that the rubber basket is nice & soft and doesn't stiffen up. I do have the mid length too but it doesn't get near as much use. Definitely use a lanyard. I keep an S carabiner on my wading belt with a coil cord going to the handle with the magnet zip tied to the head of the net where it attaches to my vest. This nets a bit expensive to lose down stream!
