Wreckoning-LS Mountain Bike Frame

Evil's Lightly Salted update of the Wreckoning builds on the esteemed planted-yet-playful ride feel that we love with even more versatility. With 166mm of rear travel, governed by Dave's Extra Legitimate Travel Apparatus (DELTA), which Evil designed in collaboration with Dave Weagle, this bike is ready to get rowdy. A Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate shock gets spec'd to support this pedal-powered shredder. So, once the shock tune is set, DELTA strikes an apparently contradictory balance between a supple, light-off-the-top early stroke and a mid-stroke that keeps the tires glued to the trail. This gives us the ability to send it deep and then pedal right back up to the top for another lap.

Delivering incredible stability at speed, the slack headtube sits at 64.6 or 63.9 degrees, depending on what setting we have the linkage's flip-chip in, so whether we're racing the clock or sending gnarly descents, we can charge with confidence. Short 430mm chainstays, in the low position, maintain the fun-loving nimbleness that gives us the freedom to whip the Wreckoning over massive tabletops and slash berms until our heart's content, while a steep 77-degree headtube angle gives us a comfortable position to climb up to the top. Evil also added internal cable routing and a rubber sound-cancelling chainstay protector for a silent ride, along with updating the rear triangle to fit the easy-to-find SRAM UDH. It takes a lot to find the Wreckoning limits, and that's fortunate since The Evil Wreckoning-LS Mountain Bike Frame is a 166mm travel bike that feels like a 200mm DH specialist.
