Why We Like The Novo Force Trainer
As trainers become increasingly intelligent, able to communicate wirelessly with a suite of devices and apps, we still appreciate the simplicity of a foldable model like the Elite Novo Force Trainer. Affordable and easy-to-use, the Novo Force doesn't boast any never-before-seen technology, but instead relies on a dependable construction that will see you through winter days spent steadily building endurance in preparation for spring.
Whether you're working with a dedicated training plan or prefer to keep your workouts a little more off-the-cuff, the Novo Force's eight resistance settings, controlled by a magnetic resistance unit, accommodate everything from intervals to long, slow endurance days. The trainer's steel and plastic construction provides a stable ride, even as you up the intensity, and your rear wheel stays anchored by a 30mm elastogel roller.
New this year, Elite made this support system adjustable to allow you to maintain ideal pressure between the roller and tire. If you're traveling for business or upcoming races, the Novo Force quickly folds up to allow for easier transportation, and it secures your bike quickly using a simple clamp for pre-race warmups or hotel room workouts.

It is what it is
- I've put it through the wringer
Bought this trainer to ride indoors when the weather doesn't look so good outside. It does what its intended purpose with no fuss. It came with all the needed, like the skewer and other parts. However, the unit itself tends to be unstable and it rocks a bit when riding out the saddle, hoped that the legs were wider at the front, but I am not a "wattmonster". I just bought this trainer so that I can keep my legs spinning. The unit is noticeably noisy, which I expected given that it's a mag trainer. The faster your wheel spins on the trainer, the louder it gets, so keep that in mind. In my opinion, this is a great trainer if you are looking for a fuss-free, simple and easy to use trainer that is kind to your wallet. It does not have all the smart and fancy features as the other more expensive trainers, but it is a great "bang for the buck" magnetic trainer.
