A beast to be reckoned with.
At three pounds per boot, the Dynafit Men's Beast Carbon Ski Boot is light on your feet so you can reach the summit before sunrise. Unlike most superlight ski touring boots, the Beast feels more like a powder-charging freeride boot on the ride down. This beast boasts Dynamic's SnowDynamic Concept, which uses a streamlined design to help you shred the deeps and steeps without losing any speed.
- Ultralight ski boot for freeride touring
- SnowDynamic Concept rides deep powder with minimal speed loss
- Pebax and carbon fiber construction keeps the boot light and stiff
- Precision Lock System with secure ski/walk mode
- Custom Ready liner with thermo-moldable Ultralon foam
- Lugged sole with touring and tech bindings compatibility
- Item #DNF00A0

My Favorite Boot
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is my fourth pair of boots, and I love them. They are super stiff and feel like an alpine boot. I havenât noticed any downsides while hiking either. I have considered replacing the liners with some aftermarket ones but am worried that the boot wouldnât be as stiff anymore.
Stiff, but not snugg
I have been using Dynafit boots for years. Always loved the fit and ability to charge downhill. My last pair was a set of Vulcans.
These boots are stiff. The closest to a real alpine boot i have found. I would LOVE these boots except one problem: the liners.
The liners are about 1/2 the thickness of my vulcans. Amd after heat molding they filled out nicely at the foot, BUT i cannot get a tight fit at the upper two shin buckles. I have moved the buckles to the tightest hole, and on the tightest buckle setting there is still play in the tongue.
The result is the boot feels a bit sloppy, and you have to be real agressive to maintain pressure forward.
So far this is a dissapointment. And I am hoping it can be resolved in someway.
Is this boot compatible with a Salomon Guardian MNC 13 binding? I am looking to eventually upgrade to tech bindings, but would like to use my existing bindings for now.
