Danner Crag Rat Hiking Boot - Men's

Crag Rat Hiking Boot

The Danner Crag Rat Men's Hiking Boot isn't at home until it's miles from anywhere, marching through mud, rallying over rocks, or stomping through snow. The whole package is built on top of a deep-lugged Vibram Tsavo outsole, which is designed to grip all sorts of rugged terrain, giving you the confidence to take the Crag Rat almost anywhere. On top of the sole, you'll find a PU footbed and molded PU midsole that, along with the stiff nylon shank, provide plenty of support and protection against the sharp rocks and tough terrain that are the Crag Rat's preferred environments. The Crag Rat is also built with a PU-and-Pebax Dynamic Response stability system, which provides increased stiffness, lateral stability, and energy return, so you can cover more ground with less pain and effort. Finally, the supple but rugged full-grain leather upper is lined with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane, which keeps your foot dry when you're marching through rainy, muddy, or snowy conditions on the way to your next campsite.

Nice boots

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

If you are looking for an excellent pair of boots to help you get up and down the mountains, the Crag Rats are a great pick. These are gonna work well during the upcoming chukar hunting season. They're tough without feeling like bulky clod hoppers, offer great toe protection, ample support, waterproofing (huge bonus). Expensive but worth the money.....
