POOR fit !

The gloves looked BOMBER, but the fit is so poor that I could not grip a ski pole ice axe or the handlebars on my sled... I have no idea of what went sideways with the development of these but they were un-wearable for me. Grab another pair of Dakine gloves though every other pair I have are great. Backcountry customer service is FANTASTIC, thank you McKenzie.

Size is very odd

I bought an XL and a Large knowing I might be right on the line. The liner is SO thick, neither worked. It's great that the liner is that thick, and I'm sure they would be VERY warm, but it makes the glove so tight on my hand it was uncomfortable. If you take the liner out you've kind of defeated the purpose, and the shell by itself is very loose because it's sized, albiet poorly, to hold the huge liner. They look durable and warm, but the sizing needs to be adjusted. These would only work for someone with extremely long fingers, and paper thin wrists. (Not sure that exists)

Tried on glove in store. When I got glove I discovered it has a super thick liner which Dakine probably thinks is added value, and it is very warm, but if you take out the glove becomes super sloppy on the hand. For normal in resort skiing or snowboarding, I would definitely suggest next size down in combination with thin liners. The product is not eligible for return so not thrilled about that.
