Disappointing quality

For the first time in years I bought 4 flannel shirts this fall, from 3 different makers. The Columbia flannel was a huge disappointment. The fabric was nice when purchased but pilled and looked shabby after a cool water wash. Very light weight, doesn't appear it will last long or wear well.

Runs small!

I'd consider myself a flannel connoisseur, in that I often purchase flannels and am constantly looking for the "perfect flannel". Well, this Columbia flannel has far exceeded my expectations, and is my new favorite. It's flattering - nice length, high low hem, not too tight in the chest or shoulders, and has a subtle feminine cut - not too boxy! It feels to be made from a high quality, thick material, and has a rich color (I ordered Velvet Cove). It's also a great value at the price. Highly recommend! I find myself typically a medium in women's tops and was happy that I sized down to a small based on the size chart.
