Slip the Columbia Infant Chippewa II Mitten over your baby's tiny fingers and let the rug rat crawl around in the strange, cold white stuff for the first time. A soft polyester fleece lining and polyester insulation ensures those tiny hands don't freeze as you haul the little one around in a sled, and the elastic wrist and zipper closure secure the Chippewa II so it doesn't get lost in the snow. The leatherette palm grips the sled and a soft fleece nose wipe gently removes the snot from his or her little rosy nose.

Ready for Winter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's a positive review: "I'm so glad I bought these mittens for my son! They're absolutely perfect for keeping his hands warm and toasty. The material is super soft and cozy, and the fit is just right. I love that they're easy to put on and take off, making them a breeze for my son to manage on his own. The quality is top-notch, and I can tell they'll last throughout the winter season and beyond. The color and design are adorable, and my son loves wearing them. He's received so many compliments already! The mittens have been a game-changer for our outdoor adventures together - no more cold hands!

Baby mittens
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty cool little mittens. Easy to get on and seem like they will keep little hands warm. Unfortunately they didn’t fit our 1-1/2 yo, but I gave them to nephews baby

Perfect for little hands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gloves are perfect for little hands. They don't have a thumb, so keep that in mind if your little likes to grasp the snow. My little is too young to really play in the snow, so these work great. I don't have to fight to get his thumb in the hole. There is a zipper to open it wider to get his hands in before zipping it tight.

Too small & too difficult to put on
My baby is only 4 months and I couldn’t use it. The zipper opens, but there is a little flat of fabric within the zipper that doesn’t allow the mitten to open wide. If you have a baby you know the struggle to fit anything to their hands, imagine something extremely tight and small. I honestly don’t know who it could fit any baby to be honest. With much sacrifice I got it like 3/4 in. Zip and two minutes later when I opened my baby arms and wrist was all marked down and red from the inside of it. We all hate it!

Well Constructed But Do Not Stay On 15 Month Old For More Than A Few Minutes
Although this seem to be constructed well and waterproof, my 15 month old is able to easily shake them off of his hands, so they don't stay on for more than a few minutes.

Infant mittens
These are cute and have a zipper for ease to put on infant's hand. This was bought for a 10 month old baby. However, they are useless since they slide right off. They are going back to Columbia.

No thumbs
I just bought these for my 11 month old daughter. They are just "muffs" for your hands- they do not have thumbs. This might be fine for a baby under, say, 6 months, but the design will not work for an older baby. At the time of my purchase, the website didn't say anything about the lack of thumbs, and the photos only showed the top of the mitten so this issue was not apparent from the pictures. I requested that the website be updated to accurately show this aspect of these "mittens." On the upside, when I contacted customer service about this issue, they waived the return shipping fee.

Warm Fingers
The fit is perfect and they are warm. Plus you will not lose them because of the little clip attachments.

Good
I love that it has a strap on the wrist to keep my baby’s hands warm and from falling out. Next time they should add at least a portion for the thumb.
