    Look like an ace.

When it's really cold out you have two options—zip-up a big puffy down coat and wreak havoc like the marshmallow man in Ghostbusters, or throw on the Canada Goose Men's Borden Bomber Jacket and strut around town like ace. Not skimping on technical features, this insulated jacket incorporates 625-fill duck down to keep you toasty, and with a coyote fur lined hood you'll look just as capable of skinning your own kill as you do shooting down bi-planes over Austria. With Canada Gooose's own Arctic-Tech shell with a DWR finish, you won't have to worry about water making a clumpy mess of it's downy innards, and with an assortment of pockets inside and out you'll have plenty of space for your essentials when you hit the town.

    Sizing info

Purchased a size Large I'm 42 yr old male 33inch waist 5' 10" 225 11% bmi . The large fits perfectly an if I went off the Canada goose website sizing program they recommend an XL which would have been huge. I'm a regular with backcountry an order monthly, on this purchase I used a 20% coupon an a $50 credit from another purchase just another reason I shop exclusively with backcountry. Now if you want to compare this coat with other brands, I wear a large in Simms an XL in Outdoor Research, Montane XL are to small need an XXL ,I wear XL in t shirt s, hope this review helps other buyers. Thanks again for the excellent service an love the 2 day SH which always seems to be available Erin Mansfield

      2015 vs older model

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 6'0"
      • Weight: 190lbs

I own both the 2013 and 2015 models (different colors). Everything is the same on the except the 2015 model now has a hood cinch which was sorely needed. In terms of sizing, Canada Goose has 3 fits - slim, regular and relaxed. Borden Bomber is a regular fit jacket. I suggest ordering by waist size and not chest size as the waist will dictate the sizing. If you want to layer, you can order your normal size. I am 6 feet, 32 waist, 42 chest, 190lbs and I prefer a slimmer look so I went with medium and it is spot on.

Hi, I checked the online authorized retailers on the CG website but backcountry was not listed. Is this true?

      Hey Tony,

We are definitely an on-line authorized retailer for Canada Goose. I found us listed under the following link on the CG website:

      Hi there,
I'm 5'11" and 185lbs with 34-35" waist and 39" chest. Looking at a slightly loose fit. Am contemplating between M or L but worried that the sleeves and bottom may be too long? What do you recommend? Thanks.

Gotta wonder whether the Gearheads ever look at the Canada Goose website: there's an inter-active sizing chart that takes height, weight, body shape and age and desired fit into account!

Using that chart the best size for this gentleman is Large, no question.

So I pretty much have only Arcteryx gear and I am a medium in everything accept the Cerium LT ( large). I am 5'10 and 180lbs. I bought this canada goose jacket as my first non arcteryx product and medium was just too tight. I went with a large and it is a little loose but much better than being tight at the hip area.

Do you deliver to the UK? And also for sizing I have a 29inch waist 5'8" for a slimmer fit do you recommend the small or extra small?

Hello I am 6'0 tall 170lbs, waist 31-32", chest size is 37". What size jacket would I need. I don't want the jacket of be too "poofy", what size would you recommend.

      Hey Adriel,

You are right in between a Medium and Small for the Canada Goose Borden Bomber Jacket. For example, I am 6'1", 185 lbs., 34" waist, 39" chest and I would go with a Medium in the bomber fit. The good news is that if you do not like how the jacket fits you, we will exchange it for free for a different size.

I am 5' 8" and 175lbs athletically built. chest size is 39-40". what size would you recommend as best fit? thx

This particular jacket you need to size by the hips/waist because it tapers down and has that elastic thing. I personally cant stand being restricted so I went with a large. Also I have bigger lats and upper body so the medium fit but kinda snug. If i put on a sweater or a hoody and this jacket the medium would be too tight.

      What size should I order? I'm 5'10, 165 pounds and 40 -42 chest.

You will fit best into a Large in this jacket. We currently have those in stock in Military Green and Graphite.

I'm trying to determine what size i would need in the Borden Bomber Jacket - I'm 5'7" 153lbs , medium build for my height. Waist is 32-33. Chest 39-40"

So I would definitley get a M in this jacket. You can back order this jacket so it ships out once we get more in stock. I see we have 5 on order, if you wanted to get set up with one and you want to save a little cash, contact me and we can set up the order then! My email is skdavis@backcountry.com

      hi ,i m 6 ft ,40 in chest,175 pd,please help me with size

      Size Medium:

      Chest 38 - 40in, waist 33 - 36in

      Size Large:

      Chest 41 - 43in, waist 37 - 40in

Based on those measurements, you could probably get a medium... But the large will give you a little more room to layer. And at your height, a little extra length might be nice!
