Classic comfort for your competitive side.
The Brooks C15 Cambium saddle shares the same timeless design of natural rubber and woven material that sets Brooks apart from the crowd of jet black saddles with no personality.
Compared to the original Brooks C17, the C15 saddle is 10 grams lighter and 22 millimeters narrower. This makes it more suited to the fast, tight pedaling styles of cyclists who skew toward the competitive side of the spectrum. Like other Cambiums, the C15 shares the same three-layer construction that begins with a section of natural rubber. After being vulcanized, the rubber’s upper face is covered with organic cotton and a firm textile layer for a durable and comfortable face. The saddle body flexes at the wings and between the rails’ contact points to support your sit bones and cushion your perineum.

7,000 miles and counting
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've put this thing to serious use and I bet it's not halfway used-up.
Literally no complaints. I'm a cycling cheapskate except in two arenas: tires and saddles. Those contact points are important.
Now, perhaps someone whose sitbones aren't adjusted to riding on a road bike might find reason to complain. This is not a magic seat and riding is still something to get used to. But for anyone who wants an upgrade, or the best possible touring/commuting home for their ass, this is a top-notch choice.
Had High Hopes
Going to be honest here… this saddle is not an instant comfort as many people claim. Granted it may be because of my boney body, but I bought this saddle with high hopes for my commuter bike because I appreciated the water resistance qualities and the flexibility with the saddle material.
It’s taken me about two to three weeks to adjust, but still feel its a little too firm on my pelvis because I often find myself adjusting. So far the only way to avoid this discomfort is if I wear cycling shorts, but that is not practical when I’m commuting around town everyday for meetings or to meet up with people.
Right now the best thing going for it is style points.
Great for my Boyfriend, not great for me
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I got this saddle as a gift, the nose was far too firm for my bits to handle. I gave it to my boyfriend and he loves it on his adventure mountain bike. I picked up the carved version and am in heaven.
Great for a my slender man friend, too narrow and stiff for my womanly anatomy.
Perfect for Cyclocross
Will not hit the road/trails on anything else. LOVE IT.

The C15 looks pretty cool for cross.
