Quality and weight
Add this to upgrade my pack this year trying to cut a little bit of weight where I can and this lantern was not only smaller it was lighter and brighter than my previous set up

Perfect for a tent light!
Small, Light weight, perfect to hang from top of inside of my tent. Bright enough to read with before lights out.

Unreliable
This little unit seemed to be the ticket but after only two short trips into the backcountry it just stopped turning on. Checked all connections and battery orientation but still no luck. Then several months later suddenly it worked again and seemed great but after one night of use, repeated attempts to get it to turn on have failed. A waste of pack space. Will go back to my trusty UNO candle lantern. By the way...Love the BlackDiamond head lamps, just not this.

Good little light
I wouldn’t recommend it as a backup when hiking as it’s not super bright and a little too heavy. However, it’s a great little light for camping. It’s perfect to hang in my tent while changing or to take to use the facilitrees. This is not great for backpacking but is good for car camping.
